Oh.  Well, yeah, it’s just speculation.  If I were the writers, I’d do it.

I’m not saying he becomes an addict or even does them.  Just something like him joining this band that invites him to a party where they’re doing drugs—and Rachel finds out he’s there and what goes on there, and she stays up all night, freaking out over him.  I know I have an overactive imagination, but I’ve played this kind of scene in my head a few times these past few days, ending with Finn holding her and promising her he won’t even go to that place anymore—possibly telling her he’ll quit the band.

I think it would be really hard-hitting without being too dark.

But, no, I don’t have evidence, really.  Just the head canon I have built up, based on what RIB write—and knowing Cory’s past.
